Well it is only one more sleep until Scott and I will be married!! How time has flown and it is finally here!
It has been a very busy week, and worst of all, I got sick with a really bad cold, so haven’t been feeling the best either! I am much better today which is good, so I can now be super happy and excited for the big day.
Scott and the boys went to pick up the suits today, and apparently they are looooovely! I’m not allowed to see them ’cause it’s a big surprise to me! I’m sure they are all going to look so handsome, thanks to Exclusive Suit Hire.
Champers party shop have been FANTASTIC, they have basically organised all the decorating for both the church and the reception. They are busy decorating the church at the moment, and later on we can go and have a sneak peek as we have rehearsal tonight at 7pm. They have done such a great job with planning, and organising all the tiny details for our special day. Sylvia, from Champers has been our wedding planner, organiser and decorator for our wedding. She is the best! I would recommend anyone to go and see them if they need a planner and decorations for their wedding, or any other function! I’m not sure how much I have told you all, but our theme colours are black and white. Champers are decorating our church with balloon decorations, and the stuff that they do is incredible! We will post photos up after the wedding so that you can see how great they are! Thanks once again for everything Champers Party Shop.
The lady who is doing our flowers from Starz Florist will be going to the reception venue tomorrow night to do the flowers etc, and then we will be seeing her again on Saturday when she drops off our bouquets. She has also been fantastic and has kept us updated all the time. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks so much Annette.
The cake is getting picked up tomorrow....we have done a big cake for the top and little cupcakes for the rest of the stand. Half of them will be lemon flavoured (Scott’s choice) and half will be chocolate (my choice of course!). Thanks to everyone at Send a Chocolate Cake, you guys have been wonderful.
I don’t have much news. But all I can say is THANK-YOU so much once again to everyone who voted for Scott and me, we appreciate it so much and we have loved meeting the Life fm crew. They have been so supportive and helpful through our wedding preparation journey.
Life fm - you are all so wonderful and we cannot wait to share our special day with you all.
We will soon be a married couple, and we are both so looking forward to the day. It is finally arriving.
Thanks again to everyone. I will do another post after the wedding to tell you EVERYTHING about the day. I’m sure it is going to be the best day of our lives.

 Well it is only 8 more sleeps until Scott and I get married. How time has flown!!
Last weekend we had our hen and stag parties. We both had so much fun and had so many exciting stories to share with each other the next day.
Scott went paintballing in the morning, and he is now full of bruises. He had to do a stag run in a dress whilst the boys got to shoot at him for a while. Of course, the next day, he was covered in bruises and looks terrible!! Thank goodness he still has a week to heal!! Then later on they put Scott in Speedo’s and took him to Parakai and threw him down the slide whilst he was blindfolded!! After that they went back to one of the boy’s houses were they had a bbq with the rest of Scott’s friends and family. He had to do a few challenges over the night but nothing too terrible. He had a great time. Thanks to the groomsmen who helped out and organised everything to make Scott’s day so fun!!
My day started at about 3pm. I had a kitchen tea with all the older people and some of my young friends. We had yummy food and played a few fun games that my bridesmaids came up with. I then got to open all my presents from people that Scott and I can now add to our household collections. We got so spoilt by everyone and we have so many beautiful things for our kitchen.
Later that evening, my sister, Lisa had hired out a dance studio for me and all the girls to go and get dancing lessons!! It was so much fun!! All the girls loved it and I had the best time!! We then had a delicious dinner and headed to town where I had a few tasks to complete before the evening could end!! The girls were so nice to me and I didn’t have to do anything too terrible, thank goodness!!
All the wedding plans are coming together. Scott and I both have family arriving from overseas this week so that is super exciting, and then on Saturday it will be the day that we have ALL been waiting for!!
I will write another blog just before the big day. I’m sure my nerves and stress will be around by then!! But right now, Scott and I are quite relaxed!! Scott doesn’t seem too nervous (yet)!! We are more excited than anything else which is the main thing.
