Tyson Kennedy the lead singer of Steriogram, who become world famous in NZ with the singles ‘White Trash’ and ‘Walkie Talkie Man’, is now launching FATBOY PERFECT PUTTY. This foray in to hair-care is not a random act of follicle madness; Tyson has long been a leader in the NZ hair industry, picking up a L’Oreal Colour Trophy Award in 2000 and has been a finalist in New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year 2001.
Tyson now resides in the ‘Big Apple,’ his skills are such that he was picked up by Cutler Salon in Soho, one of New York City’s most hallowed hair salons. While working full time at a salon, broadcasting a radio show and recording music, Tyson decided to become a mad scientist and create a unique hair putty. At first this was due to his desire for a hair product that had the strength to hold up his skyward ‘do’ while not leaving it a greasy mop.
