The Forum: Hope in Front of Me

Danny Gokey's new song 'Hope in Front of Me' has been really popular on our station. It was inspired by his time on American Idol when he was trying to find hope following the death of his wife.

The Forum: Sunday night from 9pm.

The Forum: Mental Health

The sad news about Robin Williams has sparked a lot of conversation around mental health issues. So that's what we talked about on the Forum this week.

We talked with John Cowan of Parenting Place, who has written mental health resources used in 90% of New Zealand High Schools.

We also talked with Stephen Bell, the CEO of Youthline Auckland.

Then we opened up the phoneline for our callers thoughts on the topic, asking how you can best support a person who is affected by mental health issues, and what is useful for others to know.

If you need help, you can always call Youthline on 0800 376 633, free text 234 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The Forum: Sunday night from 9pm.

The Forum: Positive Church Stories

Last week we asked why some people leave the church. So this week, we talked about why others stay.

Some of our callers pointed out the church isn't a building: it's a community. We asked our callers how other members of that community have helped them -

If you're a Christian, why is Church something you actually want to be part of?

Check out our caller's thoughts below:

The Forum: Sunday night from 9pm.
