When we read βThe Prodigal Sonβ story in Luke, we often associate ourselves as either the prodigal son, coming back to the father OR the other son, being jealous and frustrated about the fathers welcoming response. In our talk with Frank Ritchie this morning, he challenges us Christians to view ourselves as the Father in this story - being a representation of God to everyone we encounter and welcoming them to experience the love of Jesus.
